West Coast College
Deirdre Goudriaan is the program coordinator of the Community Corrections/Social Services Worker diploma program. This program is nine and a half months long and covers a wide variety of courses for those interested in working in the human services sector. Program Coordinators and Instructors are widely recognized as professionals in their fields. They bring with them the experience of the industry in which they have succeeded, as well as experience and credentials for teaching the adult learner.
The program includes all components to have accreditation ready personnel and also includes a five week practicum placement in a community agency. This year the college is pleased to announce the addition of an FAS/E certificate program through a partnership agreement with Red River College in Manitoba. West Coast College is the first college to offer this program in the Lower Mainland.
